My artistic practice explores how personal identity and social structures intersect, particularly in shaping and limiting women’s roles. In the work Forms, I reflect on my own experience of motherhood and the societal pressures it carries, especially the expectation of perfection.
Starting from ideal shapes perfect spheres deform them to challenge norms and celebrate imperfection. These distortions resist the ideals imposed on women and mothers, questioning standards of success and worth.

This feminist work critiques patriarchal and capitalist systems that constrain female identity. Through deconstruction and imperfection, I explore resistance and open space for new expressions of empowerment. By using materials that balance structure and fluidity, the work invites reflection on how social norms shape us and how transformation is possible.
The focus is on the creation and destruction processes as a means of reclaiming agency and offering new narratives within contemporary feminist discourse.
